This  languages ,culturals, rituals ,etc. are shaping the indian weddings from the last decades. So every wedding in india has celebrated as a festival and many ritual's that part in the indian wedding. These wedding is celebrated for last three day's and there having lot of fun filled in the ceremonie's. So asset what are the ceremonie's? Engagement Ceremony

It is the first ceremony that take's several day's before the wedding muhurtham. This ceremony engage's the groom and bridal, the couple in  the ceremony change's the wedding ring's and floral garland between them. The parent's for the bride and groom's also exchange's gift's and sweet's for the couple's future to live couple's witout any troubles. Then they will decide the actual muhurtham date with this the engagement ceremony is ended traditionally.

Sangeeth Ceremony

Most awaited ceremony for every guest. It held at the first day of the wedding ceremony. In many places in India sangeet ceremonies are  performed separately, but now the generation has been modified and they believe in celebrating the ceremonies together not separately.  Include all the relatives, friends and family members so that everyone is enjoy the function and remember their own wedding functions. It is the different ceremony by the considering of other ceremonie's this ceremony not having any ritual activite'. This ceremony fill's the joy and create's the most of the wedding moment's for the couple's.

Haldi Ceremony

At the morning of the muhurtham day they held the haldi ceremony form the both bride side and from the groom side. The couple's take ritual holy bath from the family member's with the blend of haldi, oil,  sandal and rose water for the moistrizing skin in a traditional manner.  The main reason behind this is the adequancy of ingredient's and colour  bring's the prosperty to start a new life. According to scientific the  haldi contain's exfloiting agent for removing deadskin cell's and detoxify the skin it also increase the immunity to the body. According to hindu mythology the bad thing present in the body that will leave's during the ceremony.

Mehndi Ceremony

The mehndi is a natural part of an indian wedding. The mehndi ceremony held at night before the wedding. During this ceremony the bridal family member,  groom family member, and bridal friends gather at a place then they get mehndi on their palms this is there day which filled with fun, laughter, songs and dances . Especially the bridal gets a chance to meet his family members, freinds. Mehndi  also known as henna is used apply intricate pattrens on there palms and there  legs. The mehndi belive to avoid evil, promote fertility, and attracts good energy. The mehndi ceremony basically held by the brides family and they call's the grooms family to treat as guest. It is commonly belived that the darker the colour of the bridal mehndi, there will be more affection from the groom.

Varamala ceremony

The exchange of the garland takes place when the groom arrived to the venue along with his baraat. Varamala ceremony has very significanes from the olden days. In past days the girls used to choose their groom by putting the garland. The ceremony is a symbolic of her accepting the groom as his husband. Most of the people preferthat garland made of fresh floral with the best combination for mandap and garland,  many of them prefer red roses, marigolds. Varamala is not ust a common cremony it has more sigificance than mandap ceremony. Once if the couple exchanges the garland they get half married. The ceremony also called as "swayamvaram".

Mandap ceremony

The mandap ceremony holds utmost importance on the day of wedding, because all the momentous ritual are performed during the mandap ceremony. The four pillers of the  mandap represents the parents from the both side, the four piller symbolise the thankfulness for the important role that they played in briging their child and caring at all the time in every situation and difficulties. The ceremony takes place in front of holy fire which stands as a witness to the wedding. Some other rituals are performed during the mandap ceremony, atlast the bride and groom takes seven circulations around the holy fire which symbolize that the will stand together at any time within their last second of breath.

Mangalya dharanam

This ceremony has immense significance in the hindu wedding. The mangalasutra is a necklace with a gold or diamond pendent. The bride sit left side of the groom with nearest to the groom's heart, then the groom proceeds to tie a knot on the bridal neck he then places a sindoor on his forehead, after that bridal gets singal status  to married women. The mangala in sanskrit means as "sacred" and the sutra means "thread". The mangalasutra is a commitment between the couples to stay true and happily at all the time


The vidaai ceremony symbolizes the last stage of the wedding, where the time to  bride bidding farewell to her family and leaving her maternal house this ceremony marks the end of the bride life as a daughter and started a new role as a wife. The ceremony is a bitter sweet moment for the bride and his family.  It roles under the emotions and sarrow.
